Creating an Opportunity


  1. On the dashboard, click on Opportunities (under Sales and Marketing)
  2. Once in opportunities, you can click on "my Opportunities" to view the opportunities you have ownership of, you can click on "all Opportunities" to see all the opportuntiies in the CRM, or you can search by opportunity name.  The advanced tab gives you more options to search on to find an opportunity to work on.

  3. To create a new opportunity, click the "create" button.
  4. Enter the detail of your opportunity and click save.

  5. Click on the contacts tab and use the create button to tag the contacts of your choice to the opportunity.

  6. Click on the products tab to view any products tagged to this opportunity.  Search for the product names relevant to the opportunity, and click the "add" button to tag a product to the opportunity.
  7. As you continue working with Outlook and/or Bizworks CRM, you can opt to tag your emails, appointments and tasks to the opportunity.  These will appear on the activities tag.
